The Flowye Licensing System protects your VRChat avatar packages from piracy while providing a smooth experience for your customers. This guide explains your responsibilities and best practices as a Creator.

Consumer Rights Overview¶
As a Creator, you must comply with EU consumer protection laws when selling avatars. Here's what you need to know:
Two types of rights:
- Your rights as a customer of Dummics:
- Dummics sells you a Creator License for the plugin
- You have consumer rights under EU law regarding this purchase

- Dummics is not a party to disputes between you and your customers

- Right of withdrawal: 14 days for online purchases (with exceptions)

License Activation¶
When a customer purchases your avatar, they must activate the license before uploading it to VRChat. This process verifies their purchase with your sales records.
How It Works¶
- Customer buys avatar from your marketplace/shop
- You record the purchase in the Flowye Admin Panel (or via integration)
- Customer activates license using the Flowye plugin in Unity
- License is verified against your sales records
- Customer uploads avatar to VRChat
Your Responsibilities¶
- Maintain accurate sales records: Keep track of who bought which avatar
- Respond to activation requests: Approve or reject activations promptly
- Handle support tickets: Help customers with activation issues
License Transfers¶
You may transfer a license from one customer to another upon request. This is useful for:
- Customer refunds or cancellations
- Account migrations (e.g., VRChat account change)
- Gift transfers
Process: 1. Customer contacts you requesting a transfer 2. You verify the original purchase and transfer request 3. You revoke the old license and issue a new one 4. Customer activates the new license

Do I need a Creator License for each avatar?¶
No. One Creator License covers all avatars you sell with the Flowye Licensing System.
Can I sell avatars without Flowye Licensing?¶
Yes. You can use Flowye Licensing for some avatars and not others. It's your choice.
What if a customer requests a refund?¶
You must handle refund requests according to applicable consumer protection laws. If you refund a customer, you should revoke their license to prevent unauthorized use.
Can I transfer licenses between customers?¶
Yes, you can transfer licenses upon request. This is common for refunds, cancellations, or account migrations.
What happens if a customer's license is revoked?¶
If a license is revoked (e.g., due to fraud or violation of terms), the customer can no longer upload or use the avatar. Dummics may also ban the VRChat account from the system.
Do I need to provide customer data to Dummics?¶
